Tariq Chaudary is a community leader with strong roots in Edmonton, having raised his daughters here. Tariq and his family have called Edmonton-Riverbend home for thirteen years.
A seasoned business professional with 38 years of experience, Tariq has four Masters’ degrees [Physics, Math & Computer Science, and Business Administration in Financial Management] and has worked as an educator at Adelphi University in New York. Tariq has worked for both the private and public sector, spending the last 15 years at Agriculture Financial Services Corporation. Deeply entrenched in the community, Tariq has been an executive member of the Whitemud Hills Homeowners’ Association, Oak Hills Community League, Terwillegar Riverbend Advisory Council, and South West Advisory Council. He also volunteers at local festivals and with the food bank.

As an immigrant, professional, father, and recent retiree, Tariq understands your needs and will advocate for our community in Ottawa.
